Ummahti Quran is a free, offline-first Qur’an reader for Android. The complete Book, seven calligraphy styles, twelve reading themes, translation and recitation from thirty-eight reciters. There are no advertisements, no subscription and no account, and your reading position, bookmarks and memorisation history never leave your device.
Ummahti Quran is a free, offline-first Qur’an reader for Android, built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. The complete Arabic text, its search index, bookmarks and navigation are on the device from the moment it is installed, and work with no connection at all. It can be read as a traditional Mushaf page or as a continuous verse stream, in any of seven calligraphy styles and twelve reading themes, with recitation from thirty-eight reciters and a Hifz mode for memorisation. Ummahti Guide, a destination of its own in the app, takes a situation described in ordinary words — in any of ten languages — and answers with Qur’an and authentic Sunnah references drawn from a catalogue of eighty-one topics written and reviewed in advance, each named with its exact reference. It is not an AI and it issues no rulings; the matching is deterministic and runs entirely on the phone. There is no account, no advertising identifier, no advertisement and no purchase of any kind, and reading position, bookmarks, reflections and memorisation history are treated as sensitive data that is never uploaded, never attached to analytics and never included in a crash report.

Writing the name
- Ummahti Quran in full, on first mention. Ummahti alone after that.
- One word, capital U, no apostrophe and no hyphen. Not “Ummah-ti”, not “UmmahTi”, not “Ummati”.
- The feature is Ummahti Guide, or Guide — capitalised, because it is a place in the app rather than a description of one.
- The mark is the crescent. Please do not restretch it, recolour it, or set it on a busy photograph — it carries its own gold gradient and needs a dark, quiet ground.
What Ummahti is not
The four things most easily got wrong, set down plainly so a review does not have to guess at them.
- Guide is not an AI. Nothing in it is generated. It matches what you describe against a catalogue written and reviewed in advance, and the matching is deterministic and runs on the phone. Describing it as an AI assistant or a chatbot would be wrong.
- Guide is not a fatwa service. It issues no rulings and gives no verdicts. It points to Qur’an and authentic Sunnah references for a situation, each named so it can be read and checked at the source.
- It is not a crisis service. Guide tells a heavy week from an emergency, and answers the second with a short, direct line about reaching a person. Ummahti is a Qur’an app and does not present itself as anything more.
- It is not free-for-now. There is no paid tier held back, no trial, and no feature withheld to sell later. The privacy position is not a marketing posture either: it is set out in full in the Privacy Policy.
